1. mentioned in Reference B, finally got in touch with me
26 June to firm up on our arrival at Fort Bragg with the Hello. The way
things now stand, you should plan to have the aircraft and its team arrive
at Fort Bragg Sunday afternoon, 8 July. You should instruct the crew to
report to Colonel Vanderpool at Fort Bragg on extension 63168. He is said to
be the officer in charge of site tests which apparently is a sub-Troup of the
Flight Test Committee of the Hovze Board.
2. said that the way things are working out, they would
probably hold the formal briefing and aircraft demonstration on 9 July,
weather permitting so that General Howze might see the plane diaattend d the
briefing personally. The balance of the three days, 9,
would be spent in informal discussions with members of the 'light Test Com-
mittee at the working level. Please let me know your plans for action on
this matter.
