MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD 25X1 A
SUBJECT: Concurrence in Final Settlement of Task Order No. 4 to
Contract No. A133(600)-40274 with
1, This memorandum contains a recommendation submitted for
approval of the Deputy Director (Plans). Such recommendation is
contained in Paragraph 5.
2. Task Order No. 4 to Contract No. AF33(600)-40274 with the
subject Contractor provides for a star scintillation study in
connection with the Program.25X1 A

25X1A 3. The final cost and property audit of the CPFF task order
has been completed and the AF Auditor's Report #728 has been submitted
to this office. Costs in the amount of %MMIUMM have been audited
under the task order, however, has been suspen 2WI Athe
Auditor as representing costs in excess of the total of
authorized by the task order. Since the Contractor has indicated
that no additional funds will be requested, final settlement of the
task order in the total amount of , representing
accepted cost and $- fixed-fee, is approved, subject to the
Contractor's submission of the following: 25X1 A 25X1 A 25X1 A

b. Contractor's assignment of refunds, rebates and credits*

e. Listing of residual property, if any.
4. All work and services have been completed by the Contractor and
accepted by the Government; final overhead rates of 119.2% for Calendar
Year 1959 and 116.5% for Calendar Year 1960 have been approved for
settlement of the task order; and no Government-furnished property in
addition to that in the Contractor's possession was supplied for
performance of the task order.
