1. With the consolidation of all of vq..ary's electric companies and their 50X1-HUM
facilities in 191489 the Ministry of Energy concentrated on Budapest's old
and overworked system. An inti Ts reconstrmtion and gsw construction
program was begun under thoP dire,etion. of the Budapest Mivicipal Electric
Enterprise. Most of the new constrmtion consistal of 35 Kg transformer
stations.
2. As of November 19569 four new 35 KV stbststions were in operstiox agoit ?ix
others under construction. In additi,e,0 the National Electric Tkansmission
Enterprise (0V1T) bad four new 120 KV transformer sUbstations in operation
as of November 1956.
