1. There is an AM exercise area 1.5 km east of Hsjduhadh& , of the
Nyiregyhiza.Oebreoen railroad, In N6zes wood. The ro-,cls in both sides
have been rebuilt to take heavy traffic. The camp area IL aurronndad,
by barbed wire.
21 Within the camp there are fixed barracks on concrete foundations, used
as offices, magazines and officersI quarters. The enl1sted men live in
tents during exercises. During the summer several hundred l-Parge t.nta-
to take 25 son es* were sat up. The guns were in tent garaghs with
wooder traces. There are electric,114ts and water connectilons in the
barrages. Patrols guard the am night and day, which is no simple
matter at night, since the area is about 10 square ka.

using 220 an searchlights. It exercises almost every night, and as many
as 13 searchlights have been observed in action. The planes came from
the direction of HaJdubgss$za ny, sometimes singly, scsetimee in formation.
It was required that'three sesrehligbts pick up the planes from different
directions. One of them than proceeded to lead the machine, while the
othere concentrated directly on it.
4. During the summer and fall two AAA regiments reached the camp from garrisons:,
in West Hunglmry. Since the sunser there have been at all times at least
five partial formations present. Q= of 37. 85 and 122 m? were used.
Only fully motorized troops were present. Night exercises were .invarl ably
held between 11 and 12 p.m. (midnight). Numerous sound ranging devices
mounted on trucks were observed.
