3. The Wnutacture of cafaasra lenses, particularly wide-angle and telescopic lenses,
is being pushed vigorously." Telescopic lenses are now being manufactured with
a focal length of more than 100 on, All the lenses produced are`anadaled.
4. Production of medical' equipment will be undertaken in full scale again in the
first quarter of 1954. Large export orders are reported to have been received.
The packing of this equipment however indioates that it is to be delivered either,
to the Red Army or the Volkspolisei. Six operating roam lssips were actured
for the Soviet Union in mecebR01?These lamps are so constructed that they give
out no heat.
Produotion''in Dsanbe i mapproximately 1,100 glasses, About 400 'tgnting
telescopes were manufactured for Soviet 76.2 ma infantry guns.
The number of infrared filters and disks fur infrared iconoscopes produced is
not exactly known, but the production runs about 600 per month. They are all
delivered to the soviet Union. There have been no more deliveries recently to
the Calortter-Werk in Dessau.
