The-Buckau-Wolff works at Magdeburg (now "Karl Liebknecht" Corks) have been transferred from Soviet authority to the DDR (German Peoplefs Republic), but they continue as before to work on reparations orders. Nothing has changed as regards calculations and supplies of material, 2.. Another 1500 hp., marine Diesel engine was finished at the end of Dec 1953, and work was commenced on an 80 hp. engine. It is planned to build three of these engines monthly.. A 300 hp. Diesel engine was loaded on 2 Jan 54, consigned to the Mathias Thesen shipyard at Wismar. 3. Two 800 hp. Diesel eng:bir.,; are approaching completion. They are to be shipped on a train leaving for Leningrad on 12 Jan 54 with a load of factory equipment for a cellulose factory. Most of it wa delivered by the "Karl Marx" works of Magdeburg, which also delivered 12 cases of accessories. Twelve acid pumps were also delivered. 4. Four pressure bodies have been manufactured up to date, 5. Two chassis for rubble excavators with running gear'and engine were assembled in Dec 1953 and delivered to ABUS Wildau, 6. Eleven tons of track shoes were produced in Dec 1953, most of which went to the Soviet Union. The quota for the year 1953 was only 87.32 percent fulfilled.
