SUBJECT: Minutes of the 12 May 1977 OTR Staff Meeting
1. The 12 May 1977 OTR Staff Meeting convened at 1400
hours and adjourned at 1515 hours.
2. The DTR briefly discussed several items of general
interest. He stated that he had been preparing for his MBO
session with the DDA and noted that a number of OTR's
Objectives were close to completion. He asked the Unit
Chiefs to begin consideration of new objectives for the
coining year. He announced that responsibility for manage-
ment of was being transferred to OTp. by the DDA.
Chief, PRS, is preparing a DDA Instruction and an OTR
Instruction which will spell out operating procedures under
this new arrangement. The DTR and Chief, _ discussed the
Director's visit to_ the previous week. They noted that
he was quite relaxed when talking with the several groups of
students with whom he met. The visit went very smoothly,
and the Director appeared to enjoy the opportunity.
3. Chief, II, recounted the major points which came
out during Ambassador Harlan Cleveland's address in the
Auditorium on 10 May. The members discussed various facets
of this program, including the small size of the audience
and varying reactions to the address itself. The EA/TR
enumerated a list of topics proposed for the Unit Chiefs'
Conference atEP22-24 June. He invited the members to add
items if they esired.
4. The members noted the pending actions list and
discussed several of the entries. The DTR reported on
significant items from the DDA morning meeting. The members
reported the day's events.
