MEMORANDUM
TO: Director of Training
FROM: OSO/FDS
SUBJECT: Request for Payment of Russian Language Training
1. It is requested that authority be granted to Mr. -
25X1A9a - to attend private Russian language instruction at the ex-
pense of the Agency.
25X1A9a 2. Mr.- is employed in OSO/FDS as an Intelligence Clerk
and it is felt that a good understanding of the Russian language
will make him much more valuable to FDS and the Agency.
3. The course, which includes 20 hours of private instruction,
costing $95.00, begins 29 October 1951 at the Berlitz School of
Languages.
