MEMORANDUM FOR: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR TRAINING (COVERT)
VIA: TRAINING OFFICER/OSO
1. It is requested that approval be granted for
to take a concentrated course in- conversation at
the Berlitz School in Washington commencing upon the approval of
this request, and that the cost for such training, approximately
$250.00, be paid from confid4ntial funds. Mr. will take
as much private instruction as $250.00 will allow which will be
approximately fifty hours to be extended over a period of two
months.
2. In the performance of certain duties in his proposed
assignment, knowledge of the - language is essential.
Such knowledge unquestionably will increase his qualifications
and usefulness to this Agency and the U. S. Government.
