Because of the great amount of information contained in cap-
tured Japanese documents which pertains to all phases of intelligence
they will after final examination in the various theaters be sent by
the fastest means consistent with their importance to A. C. of S.,
G-2, MOS, Washington (25) D. C. Attention colon Pacific Branch,
Military Intelligence Research Section, the sole exception being
captured signal and cryptographic documents which are to be handled
as already prescribed Pd. Pacific Branch, MIRS is a combined agency
established for purpose exploiting captured Japanese documents. It
will operate on same basis as does London Branch MIRS for German
documentsA Important documents will be microfilmed ittduplicated and
sent by different shipments to prevent loss Pd Captured Japanese
4locuments now on hand will be shipped as directed above without
delay
