During the series of conferences held between 0-2 and DMI during the visit of the latter tc, Washington, was any action taken to have DUI direct all British agencies under his control to transmit captured Japanese documents to dashington? There is no record in MIS that such a request was made nor is there any record that the DUX has sent instructions to the field. The India-Burma Command says that all captured Japanese documents taken in that theater are the property of the British or the Chinese. The information requested above is necessary in order that a proper request may be made on the DUI or if the request has been made, that follow-up action be taken. 2. km early resPonse will be very much appre iated.
