Colonel : ayer is departing shortly on a trip to all the US
intelligence agencies in the Pacific Theater. Southwest Pacific
Theater, India-Burma Theater and the China Theater.
Colonel layer would like to have from each Branch of the
Researcn Unit a list of any intelligence difficulties they may have
with the above theaters and any types of specific information which
the same theaters would be as'zed to emphasize. These lists should
be rade up separately for each theater to make for easy reference
by colonel :'ayer.
Colonel -ryer will be glad to consult witb Branch Chiefs at any
tine on any phase of this.
It is requested that these lists be submitted to the Supervisor
of Lesearch by 8 November 1944.
