SUBJECT: Document Conference in DeceL.ber.
.1. During your absence Col YcCor-ack requested that I give him
direct a suggested list of participants and representatives who we
wanted for such a conference. I have not complied with his request
pending your return.
2. Yy own suggestions are: JICA, CBI, AC of S, G-2, Uhina
Theater; AC of S, G-2, Burma-Th(11a Theater; AC of S, G-2 bouthwest
Pacific; Naval Intelligence, POA; AC of S, G-2, USAFP0A; AC of S,
Alaskan Defense Command.
3. The request should make clear that representatives attending
should be able to speak for their theatres and be fully conversant
with theatre procedures in their own areas. I would also suggest
that the representatives bring along copies of current intelligence
instructions and directives in effect in their own theatres of
operation at the present, covering all phases in handling of documents.
4. I should urge that Fred 1eyand be brought hack for consulta-
tion as one of the representatives.
