became evident at the meeting help in connection with the decisions of the 5th Session
of CC of BCP. This sting took place in the beginning of Juts 1956 in the Disitur
blagoev theater, which we attended by the Ursa classes of the Supreme Party School
and the students of the am-year course. Dinitur GAM talked at this rating on
Kruecherss report to the tth Congress and the decision of the 5th Session of the CC.
After his report, the audience was asked to write gvsstioss on a all sheet of paper
which quuetions were to be answered by Dimitur GAflY. The first question to be
arewered was that of Lem )OSf, (see Para 5%; 17 PM Part III) which criticised the
C for meting out no settence to 1ulko Chervankov, while a fellow who st?a2s a loaf
of bread gets a sentence. Disitur GAM stood up and warned the audience that this
was an enesq pronosasoe^eat. A Major in the MV8, a student in his last year at the
Supreme Party School, accused the ltlaister of Interior TSASIOY of selfishness and
abuse of office. TSANKOV had appointed all his relatives to fat positions in the
MR, he had disobargoO an old employee who was about to qualify for pension, he
had fired some clerk who did not wars his yogurt properly, had appointed a girl just
out of medical school as MVR doctor, only because she was his mistress. Dfrir
GA.WV nervously started pounding the table and did not allow the Major to contuse.
,he students protested loudly GABEYss objections. GAJSSY, inspite of the uproar, labeled
the Major's statements as false accusations. After the meeting was over the students
coined a new slogans Criticise boldly, if you want to be sent to the village (kritik-
uvay smelo to da otidesh at solo), criticise but not the party or the CC.
GAMEY did not answer all the questions, pretending there as not time, but promised
to schedule a special meeting soon. This seating never took place. Among the
questions asked were the followings
'Why was not Chervankov sentenced? The blase should be taken equally by Chervenkov

The questions were suppose to be asasgmets, but during the noon recess handwritings
were checked with school notebooks by an investigative body and the only student
identified by his handwriting was Petur SII?OJOV, from Kula, President of the
Soviet-Bulgarian Society in Kula, who was discharged from the school and the party
as an eneaj of the Party.
in his report on the internal situation Disitur GAMEY we also forced to admit that
there was unespl:oynent in the country but it was not due to lack of jobs, but to
the unwillingness of workers `to go to work to Rabies and Ratak where employment we
available.
Plant growing, cattle raising and mechanisation of farms were also taught at the
,%prome Party School but the students did not display any interest in these
subjects. Prof. BAIEVSKL as the lecturer, who hinted that she exceroised influence
at higher Governmental level, especially the Ministerial Council where she had
nuggeated a few changes.
