The other naval ship observed as a four-smut training ship berthed alongside near the pilot station. This ship appeared to be a pre-Wf German-built ship. In the area men were observed undergoing boat drill and . roving practice. This in effect made the cost of items purchased about one fourth to one half of normal market price bared on the official rate of exchange. Observations in Gdynia City: of the people--no one laughed. bovever, they appeared to be more prosperous than persons observed in the USSR.
