SUBJECT : MSAG Suggestion to Expand CIA Displays
On 7 November 1973, the MSAG expressed the view that CIA
"in-house" displays by the Fine Arts Commission should be expanded
and shown to the general public--school children, visitors, and
tourists. There was reference to the drug display, Berlin tunnel,
Cuban missile crisis, "Need to Know" film, etc.
I believe that memorandum of 25 March STATINTL
1974 makes a good point that this could be time consuming--and might
involve considerable manpower and resources--a "luxury" we cannot
afford at this time. On the less dramatic side, some effort might be
made to give greater circulation to the Security film "Need to Know."
Basically, at this time I would suggest that we would be well advised
to go with a "low profile."
