1. SIGNIFICANCE:
THIS BRIEFING BOARD DEPICTS THE INEFFECTIVENESS OF INTERDICTION
EFFORTS AGAINST ROUTE 12, WEST OF THE MU GIA PASS.
2. MISSION READOUT:
REVEALS THAT AS A RESULT OF
AIR STRIKES ROUTE 12 HAS BEEN INTERDICTED AT SIXTEEN POINTS BETWEEN
1734N 10530E AND 1734N 10536E. DUE TO THE MODERATELY FLAT TERRAIN
ALONG THE ALIGNMENT OF ROUTE 12 IN THIS AREA, THESE INTERDICTION
POINTS HAVE BEEN BY-PASSED BY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC WITH LITTLE
DIFFICULTY.
