RADAR COVERAGE IS NOW COUNTRY-WIDE AND EXTENDS OVER PORTIONS OF THE GULF OF TONKIN, LAOS, AND NORTHERN SOUTH VIETNAM. TINE ABILITY OF THE RADAR INSTALLATIONS TO FOLLOW FLIGHT ACTIVITY IS EVALUATED AS BEING EQUAL TO THAT OF MANY IN COMMUNIST CHINA. 3. POST.-STRIKE PHOTOGRAPHY OF MISSION REVEALS A KNIFE REST RADAR AT TIE DONG HOI RADAR SITE 2.8 NM NORTi~1EST OF DONG INOI, DIRECTLY SOUTH OF THE DONG IIOI AIRFIELD. TINE ANTENNA IS GROUND-MOUNTED AND IS LOCATED IP,'MEDIATELY TO THE REAR OF ONE OF THE NINE UNOCCUPIED VEHICLE REVETMENTS IN THE A EA. NO VEHICLES OR OTHER EQUIPMENT 4. FOUR BARRACKS/SUPPORT DUILDINGS AND ON ; ADMINISTIZATIOIN' BUILDING ARE OBSERVED.
