Brazilian-made EE-9 CASCAVEL Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle
COMMENT: (S) The EL-9 CASCAVEL is a Brazilian-mad armored reconnaissance vehicle. The
vehicle has six wheels and measures approximatel (without gun). The
CASCAVEL has a centered turret, mounting either a 37 mm guns (for domestic use) or a
90 mm French designed gun (on export version). The Brazilians are currently replacing
their 37 mm guns with the 90 mm gun.
(S) Some of the countries that have purchased or are considering buying the CASCAVEL
are Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, and Qatar.
