As of October 1961, a hard surfaced, all weather road (924) runs from Chelyabinsk southward to Troitsk and another hard surfaced all weather road (924) runs from Chelyabinsk westward toMiass and then returns from Miass and runs eastward to Kichigino. the same type of a hard surfaced road (924) runs from Chelyabinsk 'southeast to Lebedevka and then returns westward to Yemanzhelinska. 2. All the above roads are over two lanes in width and are macadam surfaced. The roads are well drained and have a solid roadbed. The curves are fairly shallow. These all weather roads are fairly well maintained and there is much heavy truck traffic, and other vehicles on them because of the industries in and near Chelyabinsk, Korkino, Miass including Yemanszhlinka which has a large railroad yard with several roundhouses.krielading coal mines.Amdmiryere scattered throughout the area. 3. Whenever the dirt roads become potholed or tutted in various areas they are leveled with old-fashioned rakes and shovels. Occasionally an old-fashioned steam roller is brought in to level the holes. 4.
