With a cargo of timber. 50X1-HUM
2. The vessel was inspected on arrival and in her general
lay out, is like any normal merchant ship.
3. In the Radio Room wore four largo consoles which could
not be identified, one set 'Nastroikal Volno K 1, and one
largo tape recorder with double tape. There wore 6 x 15 ft
whip aerials, three either side of the bridge, normal wire
from mainmast to funnel, and a dipole on the mainmast. (At
1405
the radio operator was receiving a
morse typo message and recording it on a signal pad).
4. On the bridge deck there are five constructions' of
steel angle girder which appear to be intended for use as
mountings for equipment. Thoy measure as follows:
3 x 2' square x ai, high
2 x 2' square x 6' high
5. Photographs were taken with a camera using a 3.75 am
lens, and are stereo .pairs.
