Ben Street (at the ray end of the street) is the loeia (0e0
quarter of Oradea Lt7?0S, 231$9, the !esters part of town.

occupied a large area enclosed by a well. 2 suers hi&hj most
of the wall was made of wood and topped with three layers of
barbed wire, though a call part of it was made of bricks. A
pharmacy was located on the Winer of Zoeif Bum Street (the
street started at the road loading to Arad.)

The factory was ones a o dl oonsern for the factatro of
heating stoves (no further details), but subsequent to its
nationalisation it underwent great development and, In aid?1958,
emplo7od were 1,000 workers in three shifts. It was sv.bcc'dinato
to the )li.nistry of Heavy Industry.
The ant of the factory consisted of a director, the
director of the personnel department, and the secretary of the
Party cell. ?11 production matters at the factory wore adrdmis?
tared by a technical board consisting of the chief engineer,
the manager of the technical quality control department (Control
Technic Calitativ -. M),, and the managers of the four production
departzont s (seeteare ), necejy,, the foundry, the machine shop,
the carpenters and fitters shop, sad the assembly shop. Included

from industrial concerns in Runsdoara and Resita (so further
