Could not be seen clearly as distance too great. About 600 to 700 feet approximately. One tripod rising from bridge. One tripod just forrard of aft funnel. Break about three quarters of ship's length aft. Two forrard. Two aft. Number of guns unknown. En route to Leningrad Good visibility, One short squat funnel. No. 70 Estimated at about 350 ft. One pole mast rising from bridge, one pole mast further aft. Break under bridge. Two twin turrets forrard, two twin turrets aft. Calibre estimated as 4.5", Torpedo tubes between masts. Radar scanner on top of foremast. Appeared to be newly painted light grey. Approximately 300 ft long. 25 f t6 high. 2.
