1. At 2230 hours on 10 August 1958, a rail shipment arrived at Fuerstenwalde
from Brest-Litovsk. It consisted of 14 personnel cars and 4+8 flatcars
carrying machinery and rockets. Approximately 300 Soviet soldiers wearing
air force insignia, with. blue shoulderboards and collar tabs, arrived in this
shipment. On each flatcar there were three rockets and three light four-
wheeled trailers (Karren) to be used in transporting the rockets. The
flatcars were covered with tarpaulins. This shipment was not brought all
the way to Fuerstenwalde, but was unloaded between Fuerstenwalde-Sued and
Petersdorf, on the Frankfurt/Oder autobahn.
2. The rockets were approximately eight meters long and 160 cm. in diameter
and they were painted dark green/gray. The rockets were unloaded by German
workers by means of cranes onto the light trailers mentioned above. The
trailers were then hooked onto Soviet trucks and driven off in the direction
of Storkow. Soviet truck drivers stated that the rockets were to be taken
to the area between Friedersdorf and Markgrafpieske.
