PLACE & DATE ACQ. 1. The following special benefits are extended the LPG's (Agricultural Production Collectives): 1. Tax reduction. 2. Low-cost credits and state subsidies. 3. Free advice in animal husbandry and agricultural matters. I+. Special support by the agricultural economy (Agrarwirtschaft). 5. Special aid through the MTS (machine tractor stations). 6. Free agricultural training. 7. Free veterinary care of livestock. 8. Free maintenance of production records of all types of livestock. 9. Reduced delivery quotas; every collective, regardless of type, makes deliveries according to the Norm established for 5 - 10 hectares; for vegetable products there is a further reduction of 15 %. Collectives of Type III are extended a 20 % delivery reduction for animal products; this percentage may, when necessary, be extended to 35 %- 10. The collectives are not required to adhere rigidly to the Plan. The leeway in planting and in the maintenance of livestock which they are allowed gives them an advantage over the private farmers. 11. When they are given the use of so-called free land, deliveries from this land are fixed at the most at 50 % of those normally required from LPG's. When necessary, delivery quotas from such land may be cancelled entirely. 12. LPG's which have taken over so-called free lands are not required to fill delivery quotas from such lands for five years. 13. For each hectare of the so-called free land which an LPG takes over, it receives a state subsidy of 15Q DME - for increased work on land which is in a bad state of cultivation. 14. The IPG's have free use of all buildings and land of the OelB's (Oertliche landw;r=?^haftflche Betriebe - locally administered agricultural enterprises). The cost of the above benefits extended to the LPG's amounts to more than DME 2,000,000,000.
