In the trade agreement concluded with the DDR for 1956, Hungary had been granted 2,200 tone of synthetic rubber from the Buna Wo~~ks (Chemische Werke Buna, Schkopau}. This amount did not fill the requirements, and the Trade Mission was instructed to purchase 2,000 additional tons of buns.
