All aircraft with exceptior of the green finished Cabs, had
an overall silver grey finish.
(c) Fittings
(i) The Frescos and Farmers were all fitted with underslung drop
tanks.
(ii) At least one of the Beagles had wing-tip auxiliary tanks -
remaining aircraft were not completely obser-ed.
(d) Dispersal
The 4 Beagles were parked on the ladder type hardstanding in
the SOUTH EAST corner of the airt''.eld.'
All remaining aircraft were dispersed around the large adjoining
rectangular hardstanding 25X1

This equipment comprises a four-sided oblong light mounted on a wooden trellis
stand. Within the 4 glass sides there are a series of diagonal "noon" typo
glass lamp tubes.

there is a single mast surmuunted by a 25X1
triangular shaped at the base and on top 25X1
large flat "Birdcage'' shaped array. The array from a distance appears to be
criss-crossed by wires. 25X1

The NORTHERN and EASTERN perimeters of the airfield are being
enclosed by 2 separate permanent wire fences.

This former fence has now been repaired and mostly replaced by wooden

(b) The now outer fence is luorc; strongly made and consists of concrete
posts closely set approx. a r;etres apart, and approx. 2- netre:s above ground.
The portion in NORTH EAST corner extends along the outer edge of the partially
