In the summer of 195+ a radar station was constructed about one kilometer north-
west of Dasice (N 50-02, E 15-55) in the Holice District. The establishment occupies
an area of 20 x 30 meters which is surrounded by a four-meter high embankment
with the inner vertical wall' made of concrete and slanting outer walls covered
with grass.
The radar station is operated by Air Force men, some of whom live in private
apartments at Dasice, although there are barracks at Dasice in which,a-motorized
unit is Air Force men working at the radar station arrive daily
by truck They may be permanently
