a. The Third Administration of the headquarters of the Soviet-German Company
Wismut (AG Wismut) approved in early December 1954 an order for the mechanical
equipment necessary for the redesign of the inclined hoist equipment of
Schacht 186 of Object 9. The original intention was to shift the ore with tipper
cars (Kipploren) but as an inclined hoist system is to be used, certain modifi-
cations in design have become necessary. Both ore bunkers remain unchanged,
but the dead rock bunkers are to be reconstructed. The following new equipment
is to be installed:
2 winding drums 1340 mm. in diameter and 500 mm. wide with drive
600 meters of hoist cable, diameter 18.15 mm. (Foerderseil)
6 pneumatic sliding releases 500 mm. wide
4 skips, each with a capacity of 1.7 cu.m.
4 inclined hoist discharge frames
2 guide frames with pulleys (Fuehrrahmen mit Rollenfuehrung).
b. The total cost of the mechanical equipment will be 132,644 eastmarks.
3. Pliect 96
a. The Third Administration of the headquarters of the Soviet-German Company
Wismut (AG Wismut) approved in early December 1954 two new orders for the
ore concentration plant of Object 96 in Dresden -Gittersee.
