1. It is planned to make Wismut A.G. which, unlike all the other SAG enterprises
is not to be returned to German administration, into. a German-Russian oc?pany
with about the same status as the Derutra. This would make it possible for
Wismut A.G. to continue even after the conclusion of a peace treaty.
2. The Technical Bureau in Chemnitz of Wismait A.G. has maintained for some time
a representatieelr' at the USIG headquarters in Berlin. This representation is 50X1 -HUM
officially designated Technisches Kontor Berlin and is subordinate to the
Technieches Kontor in Chemnitz. The representation consists of three Russians;
the chief is Safonov. Safonov 0 intended to enlarge 50X1 -HUM
his staff and to employ German personnel who will become available after the
deactivation of ASIG.
