5. NK PEOPLEaS ARMY SOLDIERS VISIT FARM VILIAGE,
? About 200 soldiers of the NK Peopls8s Army helped farmers -
in an (unnamed) ri, Chongsu county, Pyongbuls: Province, in the spring
seeding two years ago. Last year about 500 soldiers of the' NK Pooplei'
Army helped farmers of this-town in the spring seeding and transplanting
and weeding. They presented 15 bags of rice to poor farmers of this
town so that they can make a great harvest. This year about '180 NK
soldiers under the leadership of KIM San-kun helped the farmers.
IEVOTION TO TIE FRONTLINE ,-
Since SIN Won-sop and eight other persons contributed 50 bags
of rice to the frontline, 3,028 tons of rice were contributed to the
frentline up to 30 April. F_armers in an (unnamed) ri, Hwiyang county,
Ka.ngwon Province, headed by KWON U-kil contributed 50,000 won to the
frontline and a great amottitt of socket tooth brushes, etc, to the front-
line.

7. HEROISM OF 28 SOLDIERS OF BANBILOV DIVISION
' During the second German offensive against Moscow in 1941. 28
honor guards of the Bambilov Division stopped the advance of German troops
by destroying a 'score of German tanks with their human bullets on the
highway to Moscow, thus eacrificing their blood for the cause of the Party
and Stalin.

Jemiyanskaya. mother of Mara and Joya, Soviet heroine and hero,
spoke about the prospect of children happily studying to be useful fighters
for peaces after she had inspected the school-room her son and daughter
had attended.

kindness and friendship of many Russian soldiers. He was greatly 'impressed

15. THE WORKERS OF NATIO:IS CELEBRATE MAY DAY
(a) U.S.A. -- Thousands of New York workers gathered to ,
celebrate International Workers ? Day in Union Square amid the tight watch
of police.
-(b) JAPAN -- 500,000 workers and students turned out to
celebrate May Day in Tokyo. In site of armed -eolice cars and men guarding
every street, they marched bravely with the banners and slogans op-nosing
rearmament.
(c) BRITAIN r- Under the leadership of the Labor Union London
workers held their mass meeting in Hyde Park.
(d) FRANCE -- Paris workers demonstrated through the street
leading from National Square to Bastille Square. They demanded the speeey
ending of the Korean and Indo-Chinese wars.
