Kirchheimer had requested such a list last week. 18. LIAISON Delivered to Bill Miller, Staff Director, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Records, Control Schedule 38-76; a letter from M. Admiral Turner regarding declassification of the title of an Intelligence Community component; and Agency documents regarding the MHCHAOS program which had been provided to the plaintiffs in the Malkin v. Helms suit. I discussed with Miller the Committee's action to cut substantial funds from the SAFE program and Miller explained the Committee's concern which is chiefly that the Committee is not convinced that the program has the required degree of coznpatability with other computer programs throughout the Con-iinunity. Miller said that such a system should be designed to fit with other systems and he felt sure the Committee would approve future funding if. Admiral Turner would certify to the Committee that this problem has been looked into and the systems are as compatible as they can be. Approved For Release 2006/03/17 : CIA-RDP80SO1268A000200010013-7
