reductions in the atomic energy program proposed in
Part II of NSC 149/1, with the understanding that: (1)
the Atomic Energy Commission will review the possibility
of further reductions as a result of the elimination of
the large ship reactor program and the aircraft nuclear
propulsion program, pursuant to Action 768-e; (2) the
Secretary of Defense will urgently review tFie military
requirements for atomic weapons in the li ht of the
