meeting to discuss the ehsanels which the Si staff shoes use
in levying a request for intelligence support.

fell clearly within the sole responsibility of a single intalli-
gence agency, r 3b could and sisould go directly to that agency
with its request.

it will then be the task of this office -- drawing on C and
other offices and agencies as appropriate -- to: ta) establish
the need for such intelligence, its practicability and urgency-,
and (b) arrange for the appropriate people to provide and
coordinate the necessary swport.
