SUBJECT; U.S. Policy towards Soviet and Satellite Service Attache Personnel.
1. Reference is made to Memorandum dated 24 August 1950, from
Chairman, IAC Ad Hoc Committee, subject: "Report of the IAC Ad Hoc
Committee to Develop a Recommended U.S. Policy Toward Soviet and
Satellite Service Attache Personnel in the United States."; accompanying
draft of "Recommended U.S. Policy Toward Soviet and Soviet Orbit Official
Representatives on Duty in the U. S."; and memorandum dated 24 August
1950, transmitting the foregoing documents as approved by the Ad Hoc
Committee at its meeting on 23 August 1950.
2. The Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff, G2, concurs in
the above-mentioned policy.
