From my Army protocol duties in New York City (Fort Hamilton) to
being the Editor of the Defense Management Journal has been quite
a quieting experience, but an enjoyable one. My opportunities to
provide you assistance while visiting or transiting NYC were
memorable experiences, especially the 1969 visit of the then Chief
of Staff of the French Armed Forces, General Michel M.L. Fourquet,
and the time Pan Am lost your oversea flight reservations.
My purpose in writing is to introduce
