Dear General Taylors
I have delayed answering your letter of
12 September in the hope that I might be able to give you
a definite response. As things stand now, it is uncertain
whether I shed be in the btates during the last two weeks
of November, and I shan't 'kw v definitely for at least
another tee days. However, I shall be available after the
8th of December, certainly, but if you have a schedule to
meet, I shall be very glad to send the Deputy Director,
Brigadier General E. K. Wright, some time during the last
two weeks of November as you suggest.
In any case, I shall inPorm you definitely
as soon as spr own plans jell, but we shall have sosebodjr
from the Central Intelligence agency to give the lecture you
desire at the time you desire it. Thank you. for your kindness
