I had ?very Intention of writing you some tine ago
sorry for the delay.

I should like to assure you, however, that the
possibilities of utilising your talents have been tho-
roughly explored throughout the Agency. An extreme
i*3erest was indicated in view of your excellent back-
rground but, unfortunately, there just is no suitable
vacancy at this time. Your application will certainly
be made a matter of record in the event our internal
personnel situation should ahhnge.
Znbidentally, I have had the matter of your letter
at 3 October looked into and find that It had been Thrnunh reoeived in the Agency, real error* it 25X1

being taken to prevent recurrence of such errors.
