Dear Bill:
I want to thank y for all the trouble to
as guide and mentor during my visit to New Qrlean
I enjoyed this opportunity of meeting the distinguish
r er bers of the Edison Electric Institute and I have
rarely spoken before so attentive an audience who
seemed to take kindly to a speech which was not
exactly a light one.
It was also a pleasure to have this opportunity
of meeting Mrs. Webster and I enjoyed our brief visit
through the old city. I sometimes wonder whether I
will regret having been stubborn about that Siamese,
gal, as I think it was well worth the asking price.
However, looking back on it, I don't know quite where
in guy house I. would have put the lady.
