The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations this morning
announced that the Comnniitt8e had agreed without objection to the following
motion by Senator Morse:
That the Committee instruct the staff to select an hour at
the earliest possible time to invite representatives of the State
Department and the Central Intelligence Agency to discuss with
the Committee in Executive Session the recent incidents in Lebanon,
South America and elsewhere, following which the Committee will
decide on a course of action to be taken with respect to further
studies of United States policy in relation to Latin America,"
