Few discussions on international issues in our various
seminars and conferences have been as effective and helpful as the
session on Vietnam last week.
The participants appreciated the opportunity to explore
this complex subject with realism and candor. More importantly,
they felt greatly encouraged by the quality of talent obviously at
work in this difficult area.
As some of the men later remarked, they only wished that
a larger public could somehow be made to share their own sense
of reassurance and confidence in this country's actions.
