I would like very much to extend an invitation
to you to serve on our Military-Economic Advisory
Panel (MEAP), chaired by
This Panel advises me and the rest of the Intelli-
gence Community on questions concerning the organization
of the Community and the quality of its analysis and
reporting on the economic and military affairs of
communist nations, particularly the Soviet Union.
It meets about twice a year.
I find its advice of real value; and would
particularly appreciate the chance to benefit again
from exchanging ideas with you. I do hope you'll join
the Panel.
