1. Your approval is requested to invite journalists
to speak to the next Senior Seminar in April 1974 and the
next Advanced Intelligence Seminar in June 1974, on. the
subject, "The Media and the Government."
2. In view of the many commitments journalists often
have, the staff would like to obtain approval to invite any
of the following: David Broder, Washington Post; Charles
Bartlett, Chicago Sun-Times ; Mel Elfin, ef, Washington
Bureau of ewswee ; Meg Greenfield, Washington Post; Peter
Lisagor, Cashington Bureau ofd icao Daily News;
George Reedy, Dean of Journalism, Marquette Univers ;
and Hugh Sidey, Time-Life. Biographic information on each
is attached. Each of above has been approved by the
office of Security to speak on an unclassified basis at the
Agency.
