My dear Mr. Dulles:
I have your letter of February 11, 1947 in
further reference to the case of Mr. Hens B. Gisevius.
The Consulate General at Zurich communicated
with the Department on January 9, 1947 regarding
certain aspects of Mr. Gisevius' case which are re-
ceiving attention. When all the required information')
is available, the Consular Officer in Charge at
Zurich will be notified. He will be responsible
for reaching a final decision in the matter.
In the meantime you may rest assured that every
appropriate consideration will be accorded Mr. Gidevius'
case.
