SUBJECT: Statement before the House Permanent Select Committee
on Intelligence and the Senate Select Committee on
Intelligence
1. Action Requested: Comment/approval.
2. Background:
a. Attached for your comment/approval is a proposed written
statement for the record prepared for submission to both the HPSC(I)
and SSC(I) in advance of hearings on 22 May (HPSC(I) and 25 May
(SSC(I).
b. We are also preparing, or will have available, charts for
you to use to open the sessions which will allow you to review your
staff organization, the way RMS/CTS evolve out of ICS, a manpower and
dollar summary, and the charts we discussed which focus on why we
need a NITC. We should have the charts ready for your review on the
18th of May.
3. Recommendation: Approve the attached for advanced
circulation tote Committees.
