Intelligence Board
SUBJECT . Intelligence Coverage of Cuban Involvement in Angola
1. In late June the DCI asked that a member of the IC Staff be
assigned to'monitor intelligence collection from all sources on Cuban
involvement in Angola and to ensure that the Intelligence Community
is producing the maximum intelligence on this subject. Mr.

of the IC Staff has been designated to carry out this task, and to
assist him I am asking that members of the Community involved in
production and collection on Cuban involvement in Angola meet on
Friday, 22 July, 1030 hours in Room 5G00 CIA Headquarters Building.
2. During the meeting we will try to assess the current state of
our collection and production efforts and determine what additional
steps can be taken to improve it. Because the conference room is
small, I am requesting that each component send only one representative.
