This will acknowledge your memorandum of 18 August
1955 in xhich you furnished suggested amendments to the
draft paper entitled "Hox the. PCG Should Function,"
dated August 9, 1955?
I advised the PCG Chairman, Mr. Nelson Rockefeller,
of the receipt of your suggestions. He indicated the
desirability of discussing the draft paper, including
your suggestions,, xith th? PCG members after both you
and he have retu:cned to Washington late in 3egteunber.
In the meantime arrangements have been made for suffi-
cient Binds to c~~rry the PCG along until then.
I shall hold your suggested amendments for
circulation later prior to holding a PCG meeting to
discuss theaai.
