I understand that it has been necessary again to extend
the date for completion of the review of the NSCID's. While
I am aware that such a review is at best a time-consuming
and difficult process, I very much hope that the task can be
completed not later than early January. As you know, this
undertaking is of very great interest to the President and
Council, and I would appreciate any steps you feel able to
take in order to expedite the review.
