1. Your approval is requested for the appointment of Professor
University of Rochester, as a Consultant to the STAT
ersonne Office under CIA Project
"Establishment STAT
of Career Corps. " This project calls for the appointment of
consultants at selected universities to refer promising students for
careers In the Central Intelligence Agency.

Personnel Office, as the best available member of the University of
Rochester staff for this position by virtue of his ability, interest and
opportunity to come in contact with many students.
3. There is no present consultant at the University of Rochester
who meets the qualifications for this project.
4. will be paid at the rate of $50. 00 per day
only when in Waxhixtgton, D. C. for indoctrination. It is planned to
bring him. here for one week's indoctrination when appointed and then
for three or four days annually thereafter.
