SUBJECT : Nomination of
1. This memorandum transmits for your signature a letter
nominating for the Federal Woman's Award.
(Plans) and (Support) did not submit nominations. The Deputy Director

2. The attached letter from Mrs. Katie Louchheim, Chairman
of the Board of Trustees, invites the Agency to nominate candidates 25X1
for the second annual award for outstanding women in the Federal
Government. The Deputy Directors were notified of the opportunity
of nominating candidates for the Woman's Award. The Deputy Directors
in ORR. The Career Council considered it appropriate
for the Agency to nominate a candidate and approved the nomination 25X1
3. The Board of Trustees of the Federal Woman's Award plans
to present these awards at a ceremony in February 1962. Nominations
mistbe si bmitted by Federal department and agency heads to Mrs.
